A good light backpack for short trips

I've been using the older model for a year now and I bought the newer model as a birthday present. Some improvements have clearly been made in the new model, but I can't say yet how much they will improve the user experience with longer use. The colors are a bit boring in the new ones, but I still recommend Osprey's backpacks, especially the relative. for new outdoor enthusiasts. The only clear minus comes from the pouch pockets on the waist, whose wetsuit cannot be pulled open easily without two hands. These pockets should be the easiest to access when walking, and you shouldn't have to fiddle with them. The older model also has this problem.

A light and versatile backpack with enough details. Worked great on the Spanish Camino.

This backpack met almost all of the pre-requirements I set for the product: suitable size, use of a water bladder, possibility to attach poles, breathable back part. I had to compromise on the demand for a removable hip strap (very necessary in a backpack of this size) and the product does not offer a separate rain cover. I can bargain on these, as the product is otherwise very versatile.

It sits well on the hips and is really comfortable to wear. A downside, it is not easy to replace the water bag when the bag is full.

Really comfortable feeling on the back i.e. sitting like a mold where help good adjustments and back air circulation play. Really spacious for a weekend out and why not for longer. A good feature brings the tie-down loops of the hiking poles, getting your hands free when you need to guide your dog. I use a waterproof bag inside the backpack, so if you still want some improvement then maybe the full waterproofness of the backpack fabric. Enough moorings outside as well and good expandability under the top hood for a tent or sleeping pad, for example. Likewise, the pockets on the hip strap for a little-needed little thing are a good thing. A really perfect backpack for my own purposes.

I chose this bag because of multiple positive tests and reviews found on Youtube. I don't necessarily have any notion of comparison because I'm going from a Forclaz bag to this Talon 44, so the joy is simply there. I greatly appreciate the mesh for the back, the water pocket area on the outside (although I am not using it yet), the fact that I have an outside AND inside pocket in the hat, as well as all the possibilities of accessories and settings here and there.
