A versatile sports watch that positively surprises with its versatility and lacks features. Definitely worth the price. The previous watch was the Forerunner 610, which was definitely worth the upgrade. I recommend!

A properly functioning sports watch. Commissioning was effortless and use was quite smooth after a little learning. A small minus is that you can't find e.g. skating as a sport on the watch.

I just had time to use this, but it would seem to be a very functional device for my own needs. The multisport feature and a wider range of sports compared to the former FR235 have brought great joy. Battery life would also seem to be very good and was one of the biggest reasons to switch to that model. Bodybattery seems to work pretty much right compared to my own feelings. I haven’t tried navigation yet, but the map template is a great feature when you also occasionally come hiking and biking you know where. A big recommendation for the product. The only weakness that comes to mind is the compatibility of my Huawei phone. It's not always possible to get in touch with the phone, but if the phone notifications don't have important information to see on the clock, this isn't a big problem either, as the device syncs nicely over the Wi-Fi network.

The Forerunner 945 is not good, it is the best! I changed the Fenix 5 to this and I've been really pleased. All functionalities are significantly faster and less rigid than in the Fenix 5. The only downside is that the battery life seems to be a little shorter than what the manufacturer mentions.

It's not like a road trip game, but there are so many features that you can study for a week ... :)

Comfortable in the hand due to its light weight. Versatile and very informative. At least when browsing the map, it would be good to have a touch screen, but even with the navigation keys, you can do it if necessary. By the way, the physical keys are good and fast to use and always accept the command. A couple of times I have had to turn off the clock when the music has not turned on otherwise.

The top device, almost imperceptibly light, makes the wrist heart rate measurement work great.

I switched to the Forerunner 945 from Applewatch 2. The aim was to have more diverse and customizable sports-related functions. This is realized yes Garmin offer, sports performance, I am tyytväinen and also the fact that the clock is visible all the time. The problems with data storage and integrity between the clock, web application, and phone, on the other hand, came as a surprise. In the Apple world, the phone and clock were always 100% consistent and there was no missing data. This has not been the case with Garmin during the 14 day test period. There are problems with data collection, storage, and display in the phone / web application on all other data, except for sports recorded as your own performances. For example, sleep data on the Forerunner 945 is stored for only 1 night in a 14-day period, timeline data is not stored in the phone app, and is only partially stored in the web application. Exercises will be remembered. Synchronization seems to work; the phone always finds the clock. I keep wondering, there is still hope for intact data in all areas including Garmin.

Great product. Enough data to guide training and monitor fitness. Connect usability is good. The results of sleep monitoring change during the day, but more often only slightly. The functionality of the maps is slow, so it’s “off track” easy to get into the woods.

The background was that I used the 600 Series Forerunner until 2017. For the years 2018-2019, I used the Apple Watch (Series 3) as a running watch. Now running with the FR 945, half a dozen loops. The first reaction to moving to the 945 - after the Apple Watch - was, "Is this screen really that dim?". And that's it; very dim compared to the AW screen. But I soon realized that the displays on these devices were designed for completely different purposes. The AW screen is "radiant", but it can be recharged every night. The battery of the 945 lasts for a week without recharging, even if it runs loops with GPS enabled (eating power). When the dimness of the screen got over, then the 945 has met all expectations. One big difference compared to AW is the sturdy buttons on the watch, which can also be used with fingers in hand. I don't miss the touch screen on the running clock! When running, the 945's display is clear in both light and dark. After the run, I don’t bother the clock anymore, as examining the collected data is anyway much more convenient from Garmin Connect or Strava, where the data is automatically transferred.

After two weeks of use, the watch fully meets expectations in terms of features. From the exercises you get all the data you can imagine. Maps of newer features, especially those that are directly visible from the clock, make navigation much easier in an unfamiliar environment. In addition, when the music can also be stored on the wrist, there is no need to carry the phone with you for jogging. The battery life is good, but the only downside to the watch is that it hasn’t met the readings promised by Garmin. Those who want the Garmin pay feature should first check the compatibility of their bank with the feature. Almost all Finnish banks do not yet have support for it. Externally, the size and weight of the watch are really comfortable for daily 24/7 use.

After a couple of weeks of use, it looks like a very good watch. The structure is a bit plastic-like toy-like, but the software itself is brilliantly versatile. I switched from Suunto 9 to this model and was amazed at how versatile and useful a sports watch can be. I would give a full five stars if the structure of the watch were “better quality”. Definitely 5/5 in features.

I have been very pleased with everything enabled. It is in the hand around the clock, well suited for a mobile lifestyle, as the watch has a mix of everyday as well as sports activities. Good battery life. Compared to Muhi's models, it feels comfortable in the hand and the strap adapts well to movements. Thus, after a few weeks of use, nothing to blame.

Great upgrade from my old Fenix 5. Time will tell how to withstand knocks, but so far in use it has acted like a human mind. Accessory connections remain, and quickly darken with the mobile. The only downside is the wifi connection, which doesn’t seem to work properly, but the gloomier ones prefer a mobile app anyway, so it doesn’t hurt.
