An excellent whole for a rod, of course some features could still be thought about. The stiff and strong carbon fiber tube ensures good power transmission, much stiffer than other batch rods I've tested.
These have adjustment with an external screw tensioner, which works just fine and has not gone live. The Leverlock system would certainly be easier and faster to use. The length of the rod is up to 164 cm. This makes it possible to set up some pyramid tents, my MLD Duomid XL likes these poles, just the right height. Few rods are this long.
The handle is a comfortable EVA foam that is warm in winter. The hand strap is fine, tightening is quite easy, the orange strap is too short to loosen, finger strength is not enough. With long-term use, the strap starts to loosen about a centimeter per day and the strap becomes stiffer and adjustable. I might change to better thongs sometime.
Sompa is a good size, of course it could be bigger. At least these used to come with a leather cover, somewhere I've seen a composite cover as standard. Well, you can get those as accessories too. Leather is the most flexible choice of these, it does not accept and spread on a hard surface or on a slope. Composite is supposedly more durable - the advantage of aur, however, is that it doesn't collect snow and ice as much as leather, so it's lighter to ski. Almost as flexible though. The leather boots lasted me approx. 1500km of skiing.
This is a pretty good rod if compared to all the others, there are many things right here. Even the light ones are in their class. I would change small things, i.e. that strap and the lock. Likewise, the blade is a little bit livelier, on the other hand it feels much more durable than many other rods. So not the best on ice.
For me, the most important thing in a pole is light weight, good grip, adjustment to suit my winter tent and a comfortable handle.

A very sturdy and light rod. Good swing. I doubted the twist lock tightening, but it worked reliably, at least in my previous Swix walking stick. The switch mechanism is good. The strap and its tightening are good. Handle thickness and friction are suitable. My only rod where I wouldn't really change anything.

Insanely good-natured sticks. The straps and loosening of the straps are very successful in the tumbles of the hand. The left and right rod marked to stand out, I myself might put patches of different colors on the rods, now they are the same color but with a letter to separate.
Carbon fiber is really sturdy, doesn’t bend or rumble unnecessarily. The tightening system holds up well. I do not normally recommend rotary tension rods, but this system is quite good when the rod itself is not twisted here, but a wider and textured tension roller.
I threw in my back a five-day trip backpack in the varied ridge terrain of the forest skiing, and I can recommend it. The leather sock is flexible and does not lye the rod even on hard snow / slopes, but it pays off very softly. Few rods go this long for one reason or another, maximum size 164cm. The 150cm itself is good at 182 centimeters, but that longer length allows for the erection of some larger pyramid tents, so this was one of the selection criteria. There is no unnecessary weight on the rods, 235g / rod which is good for this length. The rods have a pleasing aesthetic appearance.
However, I would switch to an easier flick lock-type tightening and maybe put a couple of inches more width into the somp. The weight would also get off at twenty grams if you file a little - then it would be absolutely light in its class. But these now are such hibernations.

Very good and wonderfully light pole for forest skiing and snowshoeing. Sturdy to carbon fiber, but barely withstands torsion like aluminum. You should be careful, and yet in the terrain there will be occasionally surprising twists and turns with the tip stuck. However, the five long day trips lasted well.

Really good swing, lightness will be noticed immediately. I fell in love with this right away. According to specs, the sompa is only 10cm but looks bigger and best of all, it bends like a stomach, which is appreciated with a hard hang. The load capacity was often quite sufficient in different snow.
---
Good big straps with easy adjustments, can hold even the largest gloves.
---
Telescopic mechanism rotatable m which is a clear weakening for those accustomed to fast locks. The operation is so slow that I can't make quick length adjustments, for example, when crossing a ditch or changing the optimum length of a ditch. Here's one star minus.
All my rods are telescopes, and I would no longer qualify for the ground. As circumstances change, I want to adjust the length. I am 180cm. Lumettonab period hiking poles most common 120-125cmm with snowshoes 140cm and solid skiing 140-155cm.

Other snowbars are the sublimes Black Diamond Expedition 2. Nowadays, I usually take Swixes on anything other than an excursion where the consequences of a rod break would be severe. Black Diamonds are really good, but the swing is heavier and the sompa smaller and a little worse, although according to specs the same 10cm.
