After the second hike once, the insoles of both shoes peeled off and in addition, the loop of the laces of the other shoe came off the shoe.
The quality of the games in this price range is therefore inferior. About 40km was able to hike before the breakups.
Comfortable to wear as long as they lasted.

Absolutely awesome shoes. As a problemfoot, it has been really hard to find a hiking shoe that doesn’t hurt your toes and bones. On these I went for a two day hike with a 15kg backpack, and I don’t remember because I wouldn’t have broken my legs or had to take off my shoes right away when I got to camp. I almost forgot that I had shoes on my feet 🤩

The shoes are suitable and can fit in the frost even under a wool sock.
My foot is about 26.1cm and I took 42 sizes to fit the wool socks and hit the whole well, and no snag on the leg even if there was no thick sock underneath.
Keep the water in the woods are supportive.

Really good shoes. Formed immediately after the first walk once after the foot. Plus a big last, and light shoes for a walk. You can get better shoes today!
I own the norm for the size of the shoe 39 and I also bought 39, which is very similar to my own size, thanks to a certain last, the shoes can fit even a thicker sock!

Very good shoes. There is plenty of room for the toes and it even feels a little fair, although the size is the same as the other shoes I wear. However, it gets well tightened at the ankle with the straps, so it doesn't swing on its feet and you can walk even on uneven terrain. The surface shapes can be felt through when the barefoot shoes are covered.

I’ve been wearing sneakers all summer and I wanted hiking boots for the fall. I chose Feelmax Kuuva 5 because of the domesticity. I went for the first 10 km jog, although the other shoes were in the backpack. The shoes worked without any problem. The shoes are good on the foot, good looking, there is definitely a lot of use after the fall. The intention is to take the autumn north trip as well. Really happy with the purchase.

These boots were extremely comfortable right out of the box. They are warm and winter-proof, and the only negative thing I have to say is thst they are a bit slippery on wet concrete.

- After a short experience I am satisfied with the purchase - lightweight and comfortable to wear and good walking feel.
- Also tested with sliding shoes, and I think they work well for that purpose as well.
- I haven't been able to try hiking yet, so let's see how well they work when I have more weight.
- The only change I would like is that the flap of the shoe would also be leather.

The shoes have been worn by me now during the spring winter and I really like them. The last is very wide, so even the right size shoe may feel big on a narrow foot. However, the sturdy ankle section keeps the shoes in place for fun and is very warm. I think it's too hot for summer, but on the other hand, in Finnish conditions, summer is quite short, so there is enough time for shoes. Thick soles are certainly very easy to approach even for a beginner if barefoot is not yet familiar. Good footwear. Hope also durable.

Lovely on foot and holds water well at least this way to the top. I would embark on a long journey with these on my feet. Time will tell how long it will take to use. I took one size bigger than the other shoes and the toe still bends in the right place and doesn’t press anywhere. This can accommodate wool socks, but can also be worn without air and tightening works.

I have been wearing 'barefoot' boots for many years and have tried different brands. I am very pleased with my new pair of Feelmax Kuuva 5, they are made from good quality supple leather with great support for the ankles and very comfortable. The real test will be how well they do with my use over the next two years, I live in rugged and often wet lands. I am optimistic and feel they will do well.

Lightweight and very comfortable on the foot. They even fit my own wide duck fins brilliantly, and although they are not quite as wide as Freet's, for example, they do not rub or squeeze any. The arm is also made of comfortable material and flexes with the movement appropriately. Also, the lacing is comfortable to wear, many traditional winter boots have been strenuous and laborious to tighten but these easily get fit snugly and the laces stick well. The shoes also focus, as there is room for both a thermal insole and wool socks, but a little surprisingly, the feeling of cold comes from the upper surface of the shoe, not so much from the sole as is the case with barefoot shoes. Of course, staying in motion is not that problem. By the way, the shoes look much better on the foot than I first deduced from the pictures.

Cool and great for outdoor; very comfy and a quality product, so far no complaints; but be warned: consider a 43 eu is actually a 44 eu so I had to order a 42 which is more fit to (I wear a 42.5 and there is plenty of space even with a 42). so better order one size less.

These are the other Kuuva 5 shoes I own. I bought the previous ones in size 41 (my own leg is 25.5cm) to fit both the thermal insole and the wool sock. Now I ordered smaller numbers and the size 40 is suitable for a cool spring / fall and these are my favorite shoes because the last is both wide enough and high for me.
Happy:
- light
- Sturdy but soft on the foot
- warm
- high arm
- fastening of ribbons fast
Bad:
- water resistance not 100%. Although the shoes are serviced and greased, then after a year of use the moisture starts to get in.
- Crickets rub against the strips in use and the strips have had to be renewed a couple of times during the year.

I have owned Kuuvat now for a couple of months, and now I use them almost everywhere, except when to go to the City "in better" clothing and footwear sector. The shoes are light and really comfortable on the foot, and there is plenty of room for the toes to move. I took one size bigger shoe for what I usually buy to fit under two socks. The moons have kept my toe warm in frosts of up to -20 degrees, as long as it stays in motion and has wool socks on. I have used many kinds of shoes going: on the street, in the woods, on the rocks, snow, biking, and I am with them geokätköillessäni climbed a couple of puuhunkin. The shoes have worked great in all of these and have not been slippery even on wet cliffs. Icy longitudinal trees produced problems, but they are a problem for almost everyone except studded shoes, so I don’t read this as a downside. Water resistance has also been tested, and at least in shallow water they held up well. The shoes are easy to keep clean and waxed because there are so few seams. Very good shoes for versatile use. The look may not be the most beautiful (quite sympathetic butts), but for myself this is a side issue.

Nice boots. In real LIFE they are nicer then I expected. In pictures they Look Like they could be like rubber boots, in reality they Look and feel much better. Nice leather. The fit and comfort is very good. Comfy and snug. What I think what could have been better is when all the eyelits would have been closed. It's a bit off a strugle to tie them.

Awesome shoes. The quality has improved tremendously compared to previous models, the seams are more durable and the strip loops no longer break the strips. In the past, I bought for myself, now for my wife, and on my recommendation, a couple of friends did just that. Keeps water well for everyday use, I haven’t tested by stepping into the lake. One size bigger than normal was a passel for myself.

Really great shoes. However, the area in the wrist is very voluminous. If you have a thin wrist, you have a correspondingly bulged area on the shoe. In general, it would be great if there were 1-2 more pairs of eyelets for the sliding straps in the wrist area. But the bottom line is that I'm very satisfied.

I bought these because I am tykästymyt Feelmax Saana sneakers. I've never paid that much for shoes, but they are so good that it was worth investing. These are just good for your own wide leg and these are just insanely good to walk on. I took one size fairer that goes in colder weather also with a thicker sock. For themselves, these are a full ten, good on the foot and brown in color with a nice variation on black.

A fantastically light and comfortable boot. Directly from cardboard and no need to "go in" them. It may take some getting used to the soft soles but as a hunting shoe I have never tried anything better. I had wished that the sole went up higher over the toes which looks like it could be worn a little unnecessarily much. Possibly the tongue could be designed so that the water safety was higher up on the shaft. A certain drop between the sole and leather on one shoe, which worries something, but we are sorting it out. Fast handling of order and feedback. If it lasts a long time, I have a hard time seeing that you can find a better shoe / boot

Shoes I never want to give up. The feeling on the soles of the feet while walking in the woods brings out the softness and variety of the terrain. The balance, for example, when collecting plants on a hillside is maintained really well. During the rain and spring and fall, the shoes worked really well. The water only goes through the stem down, but that’s also only because the amount of water I crossed the estimate is less than I thought. When driving a car, it is easy to maintain the desired speed because the throttle has a good feel. In appearance, the shoes work both in the woods and in the city. However, they are easily scratched, but with the right shoe polish, the scratches disappear. Remember to take good care of shoes .. The upper strap fastening is fast. It is good not to have to slope the strings separately each time, but you can just put them in place like in skates. And likewise, the shoes get easily off the foot, while the straps also come off quickly. From the tip of the hard use a little glues come off, this is the only downside. I look forward to winter so I can test the heat resistance of the shoes then, as well as the softness of the snow under the soles of the feet.

Very light and good-natured mahas. The weather in the early autumn is a bit unnecessarily warm, good in rainy weather and cooler weather. Work great in the rocky forest. I think they go even in winter by changing the insole and adding a wool sock. They seem to like water, though I haven’t used it as a partner. As a narrow ankle, I have to tighten the shoe quite tight, in my opinion the last is normal or a little wider.

I have used these boots for around 300kms on very rocky, steep and muddy trails/tracks in temperatures ranging from -5 to 15c. I would have to say that they are the best overall minimalist boots I have used so far. They are very water resistant as well. Would recommend these boots and am in the process of buying another pair.

Very comfortable shoes for walking and walking. Thanks to the wide last and the structure, even the toes do not interfere with movement. Admittedly, due to the season, I haven’t been able to test in off-road conditions yet. The duration of the shoes is a little thoughtful, but it only becomes clear after prolonged use.
After four months of use, I still enjoy wearing shoes. It is also good to walk in the terrain, as the high sturdy arm supports the ankle well. The only downside is the tapes that broke at 3 months.

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. They have become my every-day wear shoes.

Disappointed with the quality of the product (Finnish?), After less than a month of use, the base comes off its glues.
The shoe itself is comfortable to wear.
Quality 2 stars product 4 stars
After the complaint, kkn get new shoes in use. Hopefully last longer than before.

The service from Varuste.net was spot on. International delivery to UK at reasonable rates & good communication. Unfortunately, following the sizing guide I bought size to big (11UK), have Vivo Off Road Hi boots in 11UK and Vivo Stealth, RA, Primus & Neo in 10UK that are fine. My feet slide around in these Kuuva’s making socks move and rubbing. Decided not to return due to international costs so my opinion of the boots is affected by this. Have had to add extra volume reducers under insoles and between foot & tongue. Fit better now but less barefoot feel as a result. Very roomy toe box. Visually the leather was slightly more red than brown but felt nice & soft. Added Leder-gris brown to brown them a bit & proof them. Only had short walks for now but 1 longer walk through woods was very muddy, these slid around more than Vivo’s. The leather tore up a lot from brambles, more than other boots leaving them looking a bit of a mess which is a shame as had worn them when in smart jeans before & they looked good. At the moment I would say these feel better built than the Vivo's but I prefer the Vivo's for walking/running, in which I have high mileage. However, this could be due to these being the wrong size so will be looking for another sale for correct size of Kuuva's of Trek as I do think they are good boots, just a bit expensive without a sale price applied.

I took the size larger than the summer model Feelmaxes and turned out to be a good choice. I haven't even worn other winter shoes since they arrived. I can't say about durability yet, but damn good and in a good way weird when you can move your toes in winter shoes. Winter would come here to the south as well, so you could test for decent frost.

Finally a pair of legitimate minimalist winter boots. I know these have been around for a while but they have been hard to get into Canada. My first time wearing them was in the middle of a snow/freezing rain storm. The warmth, grip, and overall feel was incredible. I can’t recommend these enough. Even the price including taxes and shipping from Helsinki Finland to Peterborough Ontario, Canada, is a far better value than anything else on the market that I can get over here. Well done Feelmax and Varuste!

I needed long-lasting shoes that are flexible and the sole isn’t too stiff because the foot joints can’t withstand any movement-limiting resistance.
Moon feels appropriate based on at least a couple of experiments. Genuine leather that will take shape. Some kind of certificate of ethics, etc. that was a pleasant surprise. No zippers that leak / wear broken. "closed" all the way to the ankle. Easy to record.
Could earn five stars.

They are my first barefoot shoes and I am amazed. They are warm, comfortable, not slippery on snow. I love the red color
Very comfortable on foot and fun to walk on, especially rock climbing was fun thanks to good grip and light weight.
The water resistance in the leather is good, but the water-holding content is not exceeded.
The included patchwork insole is really hard to get back in place, especially if there is any moisture in the shoe or insole.
The first strap loop came off at the first three kilometers of its own time, the second at 40 kilometers. Tightening the included straps is also quite laborious.
Not in the end worth the price, too bad.
