I have carried this with me in my bag now and it is very handy to sit on the beach, in the park or on the street, for example. Big enough to wrap a raincoat over it if necessary. However, due to its light nature, it is difficult to tune straight in windy weather alone - especially when the inner coating wants to stick to itself.

I was surprised that the mat is very thin and will not stay in place without attaching it to the ground. However, it keeps moisture well away.
