Ok.
Dear Aalto, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent purchase I made from your esteemed company. I'm appreciating the quality and craftsmanship that your brand is renowned for. Regrettably, I recently encountered an issue with a pair of shoes I purchased on 16/12/23. The specific product is Skinners Socks, and my order number is - 2761675, 16.12.2023 00:41:10 Upon inspecting the shoes after a few days of use, I discovered a tear in the rubber, which was surprising given the reputation of your products. I take pride in properly caring for my belongings, and it's disheartening to encounter such a defect after only a short period of ownership. I have attached photographs that clearly depict the tear in the rubber. I kindly request that you thoroughly investigate this matter and provide a resolution at your earliest convenience. Whether it be a replacement pair or a refund, I trust that Aalto will uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Yuval Delshad 28 Kinamon ST. They work well as protection for the soles of the feet when crossing, and the grip on slippery stones is great. I also use it as a camp shoe in the evenings, where it does its job, but is sweaty in the long run. I could imagine that in an emergency situation, after the actual shoes fall apart, I could walk off-road with these, but especially in forest terrain, you can feel the pine cones and branches. They feel surprisingly loose when put on dry, but settle into place after getting wet.

You feel really good on your feet. Choosing a size is difficult, even if you measure your foot. It would be best to try it out. Now I ended up using the size L for a 26cm long leg, the smaller size was too tight for the other leg and the small extra size didn't hurt when walking.

I bought skinners as gym shoes. Based on the first time, they do their job well. When working out with a kettlebell and a plate bar, they are in place. I already noticed that the sock rotates on the leg when changing direction. It's natural when the rubber sole sticks to the floor and the lack of lacing allows the sock to roll. Step squat sets or jumps are questionable. SaaS to see how they survive.
One star left due to the difficulty of venting. These are like narrow rubber gloves-- how do you dry and ventilate the sweat from the inside?

Good on your feet. I keep another sock underneath so I don't start to smell.
The balls sometimes fall off the bottom, but maybe there are enough for the coming years.
Moisture is naturally not liked, i.e. "shoes" for dry weather
If I don't come across anything groundbreaking, I'll buy others :D

Really comfortable to wear and high quality. Now they have been in use every day for several months and still like new ones, although I have to mention the kilometers accumulated mainly on the road and in the forest. Size sizing is a bit awkward when there are fewer sizes and I hit a little awkwardly between two sizes. However, I ended up wearing the shoes nonetheless because the feel on the foot is just so lovely! Slightly sniffing the foot in the heat but not disturbing. They do not hold much water and should be turned upside down during drying.

I was really excited about the socks beforehand, but having used these for the summer, I have found two clear areas for improvement:
- In use and even in normal rinsing, quite a lot of black rubber chewing material comes off the bottom of the socks. There will be a bit of a bad conscience when these walks in the mrts, although a few pieces of plastic on a large scale really do no harm.
- The sole does not breathe at all and your feet sweat immediately on a warm day. Sometimes it is necessary to take the sock off the foot so that the skin gets a little breath when the sock starts to get quite sweaty inside.
All in all, a good product worth the price, and I've been using these all summer. I do not recommend walking on the gravel road and highway, but I like to exercise in the woods. Of course, drying takes a while, but when the socks turn upside down and leave in the sun, usually in 3-5 hours the sock is already dry. Yes, I would buy socks again, but I hope that over time, this product will also develop a little more functional.

* The product quickly became obsolete when I ordered this from varuste.net.
* The second star comes from when I got to choose a product of my choice.
* The product was just the right size
* The product came with replacement and return pads, which I didn't need, however, and the product was neatly packaged.
* The product is functional and comfortable to use. High quality and good feeling on the foot. There are no cons here in my opinion oo.
I just fuck when I didn't order before, but I was waiting for the socks to come to another place. The whole body suffers from a stupid head.😅

Sock shoes are good for the foot, with the wrong position of the foot these work well for me too!
I can’t say if the size was a little big for me though, namely the sole of the foot lives a bit in the sock and has caused me a little rubbing of his head.
The sock is also surprisingly warm in these summer heat, not terribly breathable that sock shoe.

The burglar alarm had been stuck in a sock, I had to remove it in another store, online order items. For the rest of the weekend, when I was walking on the skinners, the calves were really "sore". After a break of a few days, the walk is successful. The soles of the feet seem to like even these socks.

You don't seem to walk closer to this than walking barefoot. Works just as you might expect, the sizes are obviously a bit bigger because the size M feels just a little loose for your own 42-foot leg. The sock also doesn’t feel particularly tight, which may be due to the oversized size, but on the sloping surfaces the sock can easily spin on the foot.
Personally, I would like more if the sock had a slightly higher shaft and some kind of tightening braid over the insole.

So far I'm really happy with these. I have had them in grass, sticks, gravel, pavement. Only thing I don't recommend is the gravel. Some of the trails here that are maintained are kept with crushed rock. It's a little hard on the feet. Not impossible but not enjoyable. Everything else is gravy. I want another pair.

I was looking for barefoot shoes to replace the old ones but luckily I came across these fun outer socks! North feel foot walking surface is very good, on the basis of short periods of time, I had time to try out the snow. I can’t say anything about sustainability yet, so I give 5 stars with a small reservation.

After all, these are not real winter shoes. Admittedly, these had to be tested and turned out quite well in a brisk walk. Thick merino wool socks were worn underneath. The feet remained dry and the soles were not slippery. May also act as a non-slip barrier for older people.

Barefoot a-group, skinners' socks. The socks were just as Barefoot as I expected, good grip on forest trails, for a beginner it is worth starting the run from short distances, gradually increasing the distance and load.
The size of the socks is awkward in itself, basically the size should be M in the summer and the size L in the winter, my feet are 270mm in size. I wear socks now with cold weather sealskinz waterproof socks, can go from all puddles and swamps.
I recommend socks for walking and jogging alongside cushioned shoes. You get strengthened leg muscles in a whole different way.

Sits like a sock, that is, well - even on a wider leg. The size classification is very true. The grip of walking is really good. So good that some of the moss comes with the sole of the shoe.
The fact that the product is not protected against punctures in any way is a feature, not a fault (although I hope for a change in this).
The product gets wet on the outside and gets wet on the inside quite easily if given the chance, but this too is a feature in fitted and thin shoes, and not a product defect. Holds well even when wet.
Could you say that the product is exactly what is promised. No more, no less.

A very well-fitting sock, at least for my foot. The whole thing happened right at once. Does not squeeze, even if there is a wide leg.
Really good grip on different platforms.
No crumbs come off the bottom into the stairwell.
It feels comfortable on the platform, as if walking barefoot.
However, it protects well.

Surprisingly comfortable, strong sole, making it durable. On very uneven surfaces, the soles of the feet are delicate, instead, for example, the ski slopes and the smoother forest road work. I have a couple of years ago severed fibula Karhunkierros Nutsilla, so this shoe will also help in strengthening the ankle area 👍

I think the product is good but left a return due to an unsuitable size. Normally I wear a size 40 in my shoes. I ordered size M skinners and they were too big, the toe part folded while walking under the toes and I meant to curl up. I returned and replaced size S. They, on the other hand, were so jagged that a thunder toe became sore. Went to recovery too. Annoying when I would have liked but no suitable size was found 😞

The service from Varuste.net was spot on. International delivery to UK at reasonable rates & good communication. I have only worn these around the house so far but they feel good & well made for what they are. My only problem is that they do crush your toes a bit due to being a conventional sock inside. I only use toe socks now to allow my toes to spread naturally. My main intention for these is for when out walking these take very little space & weight in my pack but when I get to pub/camp shop etc I can take my muddy boots off to be considerate & walk around inside with these on without trashing my expensive walking socks. They should also have the ability to be a basic outdoor shoe when on rest days etc so fulfill the ”more than one use” rule for packing light so are allowed in my pack. I bought large which is good for my size 10UK except for the slight pinch on toes but I doubt you will notice this unless you are into toe socks normally. Would love to see these as a toe sock/shoe in the future if you're listening Skinners! I would buy them.

For those who have been wearing thin-soled shoes for several years, the next step is basically, but the thick fabric does not dry overnight without a sauna, regardless of whether it got wet in a pond, lake or sweat. A small downside to also feeling when moving on a rock: a soft, non-tightening sock doesn't feel as secure for lateral grip as a thin-bottomed thin sole shoe. On a more varied surface, the difference is reduced when the shape of the foot and toes can be better used for grip.

Excellent, ultra-light all-purpose slippers that stay on your feet like socks and hold. For self-use in open-air swimming, road cycling as break shoes and in general in everyday use when you need grip and a good feel on a wet surface. I ordered the first pairs from the Skinners crowdfunding project and now a few pairs for family members from varuste.net. As a size, I recommend the smallest size for your foot - e.g. 40-43 is best for a 43 foot, for a 40 foot you should take the previous size.
I did a first run with the dogs on the forest paths. It felt good to use the foot in a completely different way than with shoes. I also waded in the shore water. You can't walk on gravel, you can feel bigger sharp rocks. Ladies on forest trails. Minus the fact that the smallest size is a bit long, normally shoes 37. Drying also does not happen very quickly.
After reading the annealing of their use in running and outdoor activities, I was surprised that these really are like children’s brake socks. The bottom therefore has a sand-rubber sole style and the fabric itself, ie the sock, does not hold water or wind at all. So I wouldn’t see these fit out other than on a dry path, asphalt, and the like. The little one now suffered from the idea of trail running when these really seem to be adult brake socks. Well, with the spring test then.
I have run a few years and have used only the bare foot shoes. I don’t want to go on a fully barefoot organic run, the Skinners were love on the next run. Great grip, and after all, a "shoe" may have a better feel to the substrate than these. What I'm thinking about is ecology ... And how durable are how many loops can you run before the bottom starts to wear out. I only run on terrain / trails, so I think I will last much longer than consuming Lemminkäinen. Absolutely brilliant.
