Based on two dives, the power mania was worth the price of the lamp. The 12 degree lens is well suited for dark but clean waters. Even in the precipitation clouds, the beam still breaks down considerably compared to, for example, the NLS superspot (6-degree beam). At 35 degrees, I haven’t tried it yet on the surface, but I would think it would work well as video light in clear waters. In addition, you are still considering buying that 55-degree lens if that intermediate model doesn't work in video mode.
I drop one star off due to the plastic battery case belt clip whose slots are made too tight for the rigid strap. (I'm already modifying the DIY belt clip). I also go for a standard handle in exchange because I like more than a normal rigid goodman.
I highly recommend if the budget does not stretch to buy NLS light as I did: D

Really bright and penetrating light.
And not bad for such a bright 5000 lumens lamp.
The lamp and battery pack are very light and compact compared to other similar ones.
The 10-degree lens is suitable as a basic dyke light even in demanding objects.
The included 35-degree lens is also suitable as an auxiliary light for light and video shooting. An option for this would be to order a 55 degree lens, but it is yet to be tried.
