Good solid design. Lots of line without filling the spool to max. Good with space at the holes. Small risk of linen tangle. Sewn loop / rope, however, feels like overkill. The shrink tubing at the end came loose immediately. Would advantageously sit / shrink over a small knot

Good product. A bit of an eye candy if you're not into that.

The Apeks lifelines are by far the best spools I have ever used. They are a bit more expensive but well worth the additional cost. They are so simple and ergonomic to use.

For those wearing dry gloves it's the right spool. The glove with your fingers fits in the middle hole and the use is natural.

Excellent handling in this spool with dry gloves. The only downside comes from the light string that hovers in the water when free.
