Super good sleeping bag ☺. The only minus is the weight, but that's understandable when it's not a down bag but a fiber bag. Down sleeping bags are claimed to be washable: just ask how many people have been perfectly successful in washing a down sleeping bag repeatedly? Probably only very few, maybe 5%. This sleeping bag is made mainly for military use, i.e. to withstand all possible conditions + to survive washing again and again. Also, you won't be afraid of getting wet during use, which Down bags usually cannot withstand. -length a little guessed according to the spec: The length is suitable for me (180 cm man, wide at the shoulders), fits well inside the bag. The sleeves work well, as does exposing the legs, e.g. for sitting by the campfire or otherwise moving around.

This sleeping bag is really as performant as described in most reviews. Very good insulation, so if the weather is a little less cold, it could become a little too hot in this sleeping bag. Since a sleeping bag can only retain the body heat to create a warm environment, a little trick I use when the weather turns a little warmer is to put on an extra layer of clothing, such as a fleece. This extra insulation prevents the body heat of reaching the sleeping bag and thus gives a slightly cooler experience. All in all I am very satisfied with this performant and very versatile sleeping bag.

I have the Carinthia Tropen, Defence 1, and Finnish version of the Defence 4. I wanted a dedicated roomy cold weather bag for Canadian winter conditions, and one in which I had greater mobility - such as use of my arms and legs when needed. The Survival One was very well reviewed, and appears as durable as advertised. I look forward to testing it in cold weather activities this winter.

A good sleeping bag, although the package size is quite large, as it seems to be in all other man-made winter sleeping bags. Same as defense 6, but here there are more uses due to the sleeves and openable foot. The hem of the open foot can be closed with clips on the back. The sleeves are not insulated i.e. do not work in the winter so sleeping hands on the sleeves. But if you need to do something, you don’t have to open the bag because of it.

The comfortable temperature of the bag starts at -10c its closer to Plus so I was sweating even though I was in very little clothes. Good bag but the width should be a little more for me when the chain just goes closed

Very warm bag! -22 degrees tested and the floor on the ground did not become cold yet. With the sleeves, you can make the morning coffee soup even if the bag is on

Works well when sleeping outdoors at least -15C in the cold. Even in the colder you will definitely be able to survive. Basic Carinthian bomb-proof quality. The sleeve feature is convenient in cold conditions, eg coffee can be brewed directly from the bag.

Excellent sleeping bag, slept warmly in a cottage tent with the best foam -10 ° C. The sleeve feature is good, it gives space and comfort to the top and the openable bottom allows you to move around with the bag. Focusing!

Superb sleeping bag, it keeps you really warm....Tested at -20 I didn't get cold, it is well designed and practical with the sleeves integrated into the bag. I can't wait to go back to the forest. The best sleeping bag I've ever had.
