I’ve had ortlieb backbags for over 15 years already because they last the best. With this moddle I love the fastening system that hopefully lasts better than in the previous moddle. The only thing is that it takes a bit more time because having to close on two sides..

The rucksack met expectations, the straps are well finished so it is also suitable for longer carrying. Because of the side clips, you always need both hands to open it, so you can't quickly grab anything from inside the backpack.

Ortlieb backpacks are always a guaranteed item, and last a long time. The rollable top is a better solution than the previous zipper. The backpack is really spacious and suitable for many uses. In addition to commuting, my own use also focuses on longer leisure trips. The backpack can hold a large laptop and change clothes effortlessly. The use of the drinking bladder has also continued to be well taken into account. I wished for a separate water-protected outer pocket in my previous Ortlieb backpack for tools, for example, as well as a tense back structure for better ventilation. Carrying laptops could also be better considered, as the only inside pocket is on the back of the backpack. This leaves a full inner pocket between the laptop and the back, which presses sadly against the back when driving against the backpack, unless the backpack has been filled on both sides to support the laptop.

An excellent option for commuting. Holds water so work clothes and laptop stay dry even if it rains from all directions. There are a couple of smaller pockets inside for keys and other small items, for example. The outside pocket has an accessory for attaching the helmet.

Very waterproof and comfortable on the back. Some extra pocket or bigger outer pocket would be in place but understandable when it comes to a waterproof bag.

The quality is really good, clearly durable material. The zipper is usually the first to break and here is the clip attachment which is good. Definitely functional for long trips, good pelvic support for weight distribution and shoulder straps. Inside a convenient division into a smaller pocket The downside to everyday use is the relatively impractical opening and closing, always requiring each time to fully open and romplata the entire backpack through. The long tube-like and narrow structure makes it difficult to pack sensibly on the bottom or take / find anything. The side pockets on the outside are so small, so almost the phone / purse always needs to dig out a big part of it and open the whole backpack again.

I ordered a new similar backpack, although the old backpack is still usable after 7 years. The new one is maybe made of a slightly different material, because it seems to wear out faster. Maybe it depends on the color (new black, old dark red). I like both of them very much!
