I purchased Skogsö to replace my trusty old Halti shell jacket. Wanted to have a jacket with some breathability, something that I can wear year-around and is not too baggy. I am 180 cm / 82 kg, with 95 cm waist. I have size M which is fits perfectly: I tested that I can wear a light down jacket under the jacket with enough mobility. Zippers work flawlessly, cuff buttons are fine for my smaller than average wrists/hands. After wearing the jacket with a fleece jacket + long sleeved undershirt in near zero temps, I'm happy how it keeps me warm even though it's just a shell without any liner. Compared to my previous shell, it definitely breathes too.

Fantastic coat at a great price. Would highly recommend this jacket for a 3 season jacket.

A well-fitting, really versatile jacket. Clean enough to be kept in the villages as well. Lasts years of active use in all seasons. Goes well with a pair of underlayers when skiing in the winter, with just a t-shirt in the summer. It breathes well without a membrane. When it gets wet, it does not dry immediately when there is a cotton blend. Functional pockets.

All in all, it was a really good jacket. Really light and avoided the use of velcro. Well insulated all the way down to -5 degrees, until I had to start putting a little thicker on top. Actually, the only suggestion for improvement would be that the chest pockets could continue a little lower, when at the moment they end at the same point as the zipper, which means there is a greater risk that something will fall out of the pocket by accident. The material is really high-quality and the L size fits my 180 cm body well and a hoodie can fit underneath.

I bought a Fjällräven Skogsö jacket in size medium. I am 175 cm tall and weigh approx. 83 kilos. The medium was a bit tight for me, so I returned it and ordered a large.
The jacket fits perfectly.
Breathes very well and has a very good hood.
I am very pleased with this product. It was easy to return and order a new one.
Overall very satisfied with the purchase and the service received from Varuste.net.
Will probably shop there in the future.

Wanted a thinner jacket and it was perfect. Long sleeves and good pockets. The hood unfortunately broke during the first adjustment.

A very good jacket for the price, although not perfect. There is room for improvement, e.g. there could be a third of the cuff snaps, now the options are a very tight or a very loose setting. Ventilation ducts could be added near the armpits. The zipper is starting to have a little problem after seven years of use and the hem is starting to fray from the inside, but the jacket has seen a lot of use. I just bought another piece of the same model.

A top coat from early spring to late fall, as long as you dose the middle layers appropriately. In terms of its appearance, it is suitable for the streets of Helsinki as well as for Lapland in Norway. The snaps on the cuffs attached to my wrists were just perfect, I can't complain about this (either).

The jacket met expectations in terms of material, neat for urban use or the forest. Size XL was the best option for layers that fit underneath for cooler weather, size L tightened around the chest. For me, Monday's piece seems to have hit me in terms of the zipper, it's very stiff and doesn't want to close and opening requires strength. The fabric comfortably repels water rain, and you don't need a shell jacket for work trips. The length of the jacket is also good and corresponded to the product description.

With 176/76 measurements, I ended up with S size, even though I use M size otherwise. Quite tight in the hips, but otherwise fitting and the jacket doesn't rise much if you raise your arms. The pockets and hood are great. The gray color looks better than I expected.
One star went away from the special sizing. And before, I think the whole jacket was made of (more durable?) G1000 material throughout. Now you can easily see through the Lite fabric against the light.

A good looking basic jacket with enough pockets. Provides some protection from the wind, so if you put warm clothes underneath, it will be fine even in colder weather.
The price of Fjällräven products in general is really high when you take into account how basic products are. A product similar to this jacket could be found somewhere cheap, probably for around fifty.

Skogsö is a damn good jacket. I have not only two thin versions, but also a winter padded version. The model and shape are also good for the long-backed, for whom some of the coats can easily be short. The jacket is versatile and not only goes in the woods, it is also clean enough to act as a city jacket. The material keeps most of the water out. The hood covers your head well and is a pleasure to wear in windy weather or rain.
My biggest disadvantage is related to the zippers, because I have incomprehensibly broken a total of five of them with my sister jackets (!). The jackets have been in heavy use without a doubt, but by no means have I treated them unusually hard or badly. By comparison, I don’t remember the zipper from any other jacket in the last thirty years, so there seems to be something different about the zippers used by Fjällräven. However, with this reservation and future repairs in mind, I can warmly recommend the jacket.

Amazingly versatile outdoor jacket. Good over a light base layer when going through thick shrub, or over the top of a puffy around a campfire. This jacket can be used in most scenarios and is still on of fjallravens best jackets too date

Definitely a good jacket for almost any place and situation, except for frostbite, summer heat and downpours. Personal. experience so far only from this spring service ..
This jacket on site dares to move around the city as well. The good cut and dark gray color was in my own eye a passel.
The fabric is high quality, comfortable and breathable. Wax can so-called. regulate properties (wind and water resistance but breathability on the reverse side).
The jacket has suitable pockets in good places. As mentioned, the outside zipper pockets should be kept closed if they contain stuff, as they drop easily.
The inside has similar deep open pockets on both sides, which are divided into two parts by stitching. Larger, which fits the hand well to the bottom, and narrower, which does not quite fit the hand.
The length of the sleeves has been intimidated. I ordered the M-size and even though I am only rapiat 170 so long jacket does not, however, proved to be pakkopaitamaiseksi, that is, the sleeves were pretty good. Admittedly, the cuff button is almost a must-use. As many others have said, the third adjustment interval should be halfway between the buttons. In the narrower position the hand does not fit through the cuff and in the wider one a little unnecessarily loose without the glove. Hopefully the button lasts when you always have to click when wearing and taking off your jacket.
The zipper occasionally rolls when the warranty is closed. Perhaps double pullers are not always the so-called. down the line..
I like to keep the jackets always with the hem turned inwards. It also works well with this jacket.

I needed a batch and an urban breathable jacket with no film. This came first against and reviews and photos convinced me to place an order. Experiences, pros; practical pockets, good fit (size M, own dimensions 176/80) and below can still hold a down jacket to bring warmth, and the jacket does not go too much in the bag if there is only a t-shirt underneath, long enough sleeves, dark gray color suitable for forest and city, little rain no water thoroughly immediately.
Cons; as someone has already mentioned that the buttons on the cuff are divided quite specially, but in use it only realized that when the cuff is at its largest, the sleeve folds over the glove nicely. With the smallest button setting, I haven't used the jacket yet, maybe one more button should be added to this in the fabric store between the big and small, then this would be good. Breathability is still no peak but always better than a membrane jacket.

Good jacket. Breathe well, but keep the wind. Works much better than membrane shell jackets. In winter the floor below when moving. In a colder place, the intermediate outfit is also below. Own dimensions 183cm / 85kg, long arms and 102cm chest circumference. The L-size is good and for once the jacket has long enough sleeves and and also the length appropriately. The sleeves do not rise under the armpits even when the hands are extended forward. The back of the jacket protects the lower back even when squatting. In the wild and eräillessä I used this jacket and it fits well. The hood has good tightening and the hood is the right size. The hood follows the movements of the head well when tightened. Suitable pockets for carrying small items. There is also a plus for sewing pockets, which also results in pockets on the inside of the jacket. The only downside is the very light tightening at the cuffs: Only two options, one is too tight and the other just doesn’t tighten.

Highly functional and versatile jacket. Adjusting the insulation by waxing works well. Applying the wax with a hair dryer is easy.
The strange impression at first glance is that the seams are slightly wrinkled, not smooth as in clothes with taped seams. The jacket cut is very successful for me.

Great jacket! Fits perfect, easy to move in. You can wear it as is, with woolen sweater, etc. Good quality and just enough pockets for a hiker! One of the best jackets I have had, if not the best.

Bigger than you might think from the size label, but after a smaller change, it fits and really fits in proportion. Finally a jacket with no "room for growth" at the waist. Works in all weathers and is easily overlooked even when there is warm sunshine. The zipper opens on its own from below, which needs to be cleared. I haven’t liked hoods before but this model is so good I no longer understand why I always took the detachable ones off? Maybe because the jacket actually replaces the umbrella and is still more breathable than membrane clothing. Deep inside pockets are really good! A drink bottle, umbrella, sunglasses case, etc. goes easily and the posture of the jacket does not change. I no longer return to plastic bag-like membrane jackets, however, the membrane fails after a few years and poor breathability remains.

With this jacket, I fell in love with Fjällräven. The cut of the jacket is staggering: it gives full mobility and there is plenty of interlayer under the jacket. Still, it’s not tent-like but sits in style even if there’s just a t-shirt underneath. The jacket is 95% suitable even for winter outdoor activities, as insulation is really suitable underneath. The T-shirt + teddy shirt + fleece + with the Skogsö combination has offered -25 ° C even in the cold of recent days. The possibility of a fur trim on the hood, however, adds extra joy to the blizzard. And in warm weather, this is not too sweaty, when there is no mountain of any kind in the jacket. In addition, the ventilation possibilities are versatile. I also appreciate the cuffs with press studs and not velcro. The hem is laced as you like, and the best hood ever.
For my own purposes, I find nothing to note about the jacket, so I apologize for the overflow of annealing. 5/5.
