I got to Seoul last December with a view to next summer. A few times it has been tried to erect indoors. It's been really easy. Technical solutions such as ventilation seem quite functional. The material and finish look good. Soon you will be able to test Soulo properly, at the mercy of the weather. The expected value is high.

I purchased 2 Soulo tents. The ventilation zip on both tents leaked which caused wet camping gear in the porch and inner tent. If there is both wind and rain, the ventilation system does not seem well designed as water is drawn under the top cover, through the non waterproof zip and into the tent. In windy conditions without rain, the tent seems brilliant - “bombproof”! I am now waiting for 5 days for Varuste to reply to my warranty email so that I can start the return process. Hilleberg customer service seems quick and they are happy to look at the faulty zips, but I can’t post direct to them and need to wait for Varuste to reply. I did a lot of research on this tent, it was nearly a good purchase, but a mountain tent costing £900 tent needs a ventilation system that does not leak…. waterproof zips and/or a gutter system that channels water away over the ventilation area is needed

Communication with Varuste super, no problems. The tent Hilleberg Soulo will be used and tested in January. However, the quality of processing looks primarily.

A wonderful solo tent which is of great quality and very easy to use. I highly recommend it for 4 season wild camping in the UK. I also added a footprint and extra 10mm x 285mm pole.

Very good, very expensive but very good, its stable, strong and spacious. I had an akto before and it was horrible, so cramped compared to this, the Soulo is in a different class, plenty of head room and a lot less "flappy" in the wind, worth every penny over the akto. I considered the BL version before buying the RL version, the prices are so close its really down to weight, for me the RL is already more tent than i need for UK and Ireland so the extra weight for the BL version wasn't worth it. Good tent and recommended for rougher and colder conditions, its a bit warm for summer use, a little more ventilation would make it more useful for year round use, even just insect netting in the outer door top vent would help and improve its use as a single skin shelter if used without the inner tent.

Worlds #1 solo tent for four-season travel. I owned one of these for 5 years and it stood up to 70 mph winds in Scotland without issue. Now very happy to purchase it again, this time from Varuste. It is heavier than its competitors, but absolutely bombproof design and construction. Every seam that needs to be reinforced is reinforced well. The vestibule area is an asset for storage and cooking. The outer and inner tent can both be erected at the same time, saving time and ensuring the inner tent remains dry.

The “bombshell” of solo tents, here all is made to an even higher standard than normal. 🤩👍

I've only used it a few times so far, but it totally lives up to the expectations. This tent is incredibly sturdy and the materials are definitely high quality. The fact that the tent is freestanding is also a huge bonus. So far I've only been met with pros regarding the Soulo. The only con about this tent is the pricetag. Though, in this case you get what you pay for.

It's a hilleberg. The quality is outstanding as you would expect. Just back from a weekend in which there was a blizzard with 50mph winds, the tent took it all with ease. If you can afford it, buy it..

As I said before, Hilleberg is always Hilleberg. Once tested only, that is, no years of experience with the product. By the way, yes, experience from Hilleberg’s other tents over the years. Good, functional and well-sized parts. Otherwise, I recommend buying a separate base for this tent ("footprint") when it is in the shape of its model, to reduce the soil moisture in the tent itself. The only downside comes from that hard price. Quality pays :-(

On the recommendation of a friend, I got Soul. Greatly made and designed accommodation. Smart little details. Spacious and high, good view out the door. In calm weather, the box above the door directs the rain away, you can stay in a tent and watch the scenery. In the sloping rain, the door must be closed.

Really good tent when tested in winter conditions, but ventilation is not the best end, ie it easily collects moisture when proper air circulation is not allowed in the tent. Sturdy and can withstand snowfall. I am a hair less than 180 cm tall and holds up well to lay on tent with thick winter sleeping bag and hit the inner tent sleeping bag from anywhere. The bomb-proof tent was whatever the weather or the season. The price of a tent is a lot, but the quality is excellent.

The tent is easy to set up and spacious for one person, the ramps also fit perfectly in the abscess. The only downside is the accumulation of moisture in calm and cool air. I haven’t gotten to test fitness in the storm yet, but I would assume Soulo will survive it with honor.
There is no tent with more discussion about enough space or not, freestanding or not, big enough vestibules or not, adequate ventilation...or not, than the Hilleberg Soulo!
The (purchase) decision is correspondingly difficult for some.
So. I have a dog and a 75 liter Kajka, in which there is space for everything that I need in my life for me and my dog (summer/winter clothes, cooking utensils, blanket, sheepskin, sleeping bag...incl. 3kg food bag for my dog). And everything has its place in the Soulo! Really!!!
Backpack, shoes, cooking gear and water bag in the vestibule, everything else in the inner tent.
And best of all: My dog has enough space so that he can turn around, lie on his side and also lie comfortably and sleep!
I don't know how to describe it. This tent is beyond perfect!
Go within yourself and remove all doubts.
Because you can never have "enough" of everything! And this tent offers the "perfect compromise" because the entire space is used!
What good is a larger tent if I can't use all the available space? (second vestibule, "empty space" in the tent, etc.)
As the saying goes: "...everything else is luxury"
This tent offers me a form of security that no other home can offer me!
Freed me from paying rent, so to speak.
An investment that is really (!!!) worth it. You get so much more back that it's worth more than it actually cost!
Thank you Varuste for your absolutely amazing customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Admittedly, I was very skeptical at first! Legitimate business, scam, so far away etc were my thoughts.
stop doubting. But they are absolutely unfounded!!!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
