Two heavy thunderstorms on top of normal rain that lasted all day, nothing went through (new). According to my experience, very good waterproofness, you can't really give comparable information about breathability when everyone has different heat production/sweating/working. I didn't feel tight or heavy. The jacket is just a shell without lining etc., and the material is a bit stiff, but it didn't bother me. The hood is big enough and also has the necessary adjustments. However, not even intended for hard open sea use, my own needs were absolute waterproofness (rain), breathability, and a reasonable price.

A really high-quality jacket when the conditions get really difficult in the outer archipelago or on the fells. Stiffer than a basic shell jacket, but provides protection and lets you get back to the cabin or port. Sturdy zippers that you don't have to fight with in a gust of wind. The pockets are cleverly placed high enough so that e.g. the waist belt of the waist belt is not in the way. Naturally, they are not suitable for more brisk going, but for a boat, fishing or hiking as a shell jacket when the weather is rough and you need to get out, etc. The red color and reflectors help you stand out in difficult conditions.

Very nice cuts and the jacket is really comfortable to wear. If you like a well-fitting suit, this is it. Used by professionals like fishing guides and for a reason. The only small minus is the thick fabric, which of course can also be a plus in terms of durability and waterproofness. It just takes a little more time to break in if you like the fabric to bend and soften imperceptibly. Five stars, however, when you can't give halves and that's practically a matter of taste.

One of the nicest rain jackets I have ever seen. Very well designed and made. At last a hood that really works. I am 175cm, 78 kilo, 105cm chest, 33 inch jeans and usually wear a size 50/52 jacket. I bought a size Large. It fits well, with enough room underneath to wear a sweater or padded vest but it certainly is not too big. The arms are cut slightly high and I am sure that a size Medium would have been too small. So if you are the border between two sizes, get the larger one.
