I bought the shoe in my usual size (39) and the shoe fits. I use them in open swimming, where ankle cramping was a problem. The Ursuit shoe has solved the problem perfectly. Only a little water gets into them and the feet stay warm. The shoe also dries quite quickly. I'm really happy with these.

The shoes keep the heat well, even if you open them a little, water gets in. It probably can't be helped that they smell pretty bad after a few months of use.

Avanto really good based on a few uses. Cold feet and ankles get the protection they need. The size is loose, so I also recommend ordering a size smaller if you wobble by steps of two.
