The Kelly Kettle Trekker works as promised. Kekotin likes thin sticks, finger-thick ones start to produce smoke over time. An experiment in -20 degree heat showed the need for a funnel to more conveniently pour snow from the opening to be melted. It quickly made 600ml of boiling water out of snow (estimated 10 min, I didn't look at the clock), but with a more efficient filling, that time would have been shortened considerably. The draw in the fire pit is amazing and if you get the fire started, it will burn happily as long as there is something to burn. And with transitions, the following fuels can fit inside the pipe, when you have to collect more than you need during the previous burning. The dish cools down very quickly after burning for packaging.

Smart widget. The world's fastest way to boil water; at least with the aluminum version. It otherwise requires really little wood to boil half a liter of water! And the bet is impossible because of the round and long “barrel”. These new versions have a viscous cap that doesn't explode like the old reds .. however, I removed the cap myself before use.
Alunen then heats up seriously so don't burn the table tops.
Personally, I hate gas cookers because of their draft and the sensitivity of the frost, as well as the small, fast-empty disposable cartridges.
the riser / boiler combination works, of course, but nowhere near the original heather invention!
