Works well as a floor covering and mattress.
You can make such a modification to this that you open the seam at the end of the fabric and replace it with velcro. In this way, you can slip another mattress into the floor covering in addition to the original one, or add some heat-reflecting material.
Another modification is to add a long zipper to the outer edge of the cuffs. In this way, the sleeping bag can be closed inside the ground garment instead of a compression bag. The entire sleeping arrangement then moves with you, either on a roll attached to a backpack, or even unrolled on top of a box.
I've managed to sleep on top of the snow with this, but I had to turn my side a couple of times when the side facing the ground was cold (-5 ... -2 C)

Shipping is excellent, arrived earlier than expected, always traceable. As for use: the simple fact that it has a side that guarantees maximum protection from ground humidity is brilliant. Also tested on very wet ground and on fresh snow with excellent results. On the other hand, I can assure you that it provides high comfort both in terms of softness and insulation from the ground. In my opinion I can say that for this price range it is certainly the best on the market.

Non-slip mat fixed on a larger canvas which widens the surface to protect you from humidity, insects and dust, and folds up for packing with two rubber bands on which I fix a rolled up garment as a mini pillow.... ...probably in the top three mattresses when it comes to floor insulation, camouflage, and durability.........military made to last, not frenzied consumerism!

Not bigger than a "regular" sleeping pad, not as much cushioning as your "regular" pad, but it´s very nice to hade the flaps on the sides, giving you extra "clean" space from the ground.

Light and comfortable. Just small enough to fit in my backpack.

The "sleeping mat" is extremely stable, but at 1.2mm it is not the thickest. For my purposes and my back, however, it is very well suited, as I have always wanted to buy a mat that can withstand something and does not get a hole with every small stone or stick. The sleeping pad is also of the usual good quality (as usual with Savotta).

I had a couple of foam mattresses but this one is the cream of the crop, the king of the hill, the best of the best. I am a chunky guy and it is wide enough (which not many mats are, usually my shoulders end up in the dirt), it also very comfortable (for a foam mattress) and I can lie on that alone and not be completely sore all over. Only had it out on two hikes so far, but it seems to be tough as nails too and indeed an item that you buy once and never again worry about. Definitely worth the price. One thing I feel that Savotta could improve on is the loops. Somehow the "end" of the mattress tends to be a mess when I roll it up. But that is really my only "complaint".

A bomb-resistant patch already familiar from the army. Convenient to carry under a backpack, but with the edges it spreads appropriately so that the sleeping bag does not hit the ground and gets wet. The price for this is a foam platform, but I would be happy to pay a little more for such good quality and domesticity.

It is my first Savotta, I always thought they produced very well-finished and solid objects. And this mat confirmed my idea. In the hand, the first impression is of a well made and resistant object. The mat is relatively light, basically it is a foam mat lined with a waterproof and tearproof sheet (in the fantastic Savotta videos it also looks bulletproof: D) with a non-slip side. In its simplicity it is absolutely brilliant. It is thin but insulates well from the ground and I found it comfortable, at least as comfortable as the Therm-a-Rest Prolite Plus I used before, with the great advantage that the padded part is 190 cm long for me who am 186 tall. to say being completely supported on the mat, a big difference in terms of comfort especially not to suffer from cold feet. The only flaw I can highlight is the width of only 50 cm of the padded part, perhaps not much for those who are very sturdy.

A very durable sleeping pad with which you can settle more carelessly in the trunk than with inflatables. Clever edges that expand the dry area when camping in the terrain. On the other side of the fabric there is a friction surface, so the sleeping bag should not rotate like inflatable ones and maybe it stays better in the hammock, etc.

Great Item and very sturdy. For isolated Groundsheet very good.

The buyer of this probably knows what is being acquired. The most essential added value to virtually any other sleeping pad on the market is those flanges which, in all their simplicity, are a great invention. An added bonus: no disgusting unicorn rainbow gaypride civilian colors.

Thanks to the flanges, it protects well from moisture. In winter alone, the platform did not insulate with -20 frosts but the snow froze below and woke up when places started to run out, i.e. requires additional substrate in the frosts. The materials seemed really durable.

And crazy crazy appellants. The Savota sleeping pad is the best for the cold and wet conditions of Lapland! The extra flaps protect the sleeper even if you rotate a little off the platform, which is an old but good invention. In India, too, we slept on similar platforms in 1990 and this current one is exactly what Savotta sells. The weight is a kilo, but the insulation is even better. Made of high-quality materials that can withstand even the hardest frost! +++
Insufficient insulation properties and heavy compared to their properties. The pad also doesn’t cushion enough, meaning sleeping on a hard pad is uncomfortable, not to mention if there’s a root or rock underneath. Inside the base, there is a fairly basic sleeping base from which the torque is not enough for Finnish conditions. Foldable flanges are a good idea but when the basic properties of the sleeping pad are poor, the product cannot be recommended.
