I had tried on all sorts of boots eg Lowa/Crispi etc to upgrade my stiched danners which i wear 80plus hours per week. All far too narrow. But i tried on the civilian quest 4d and WOW.So jumped on Varuste ordered the forces version and damn best boot ever. Wide fitting but snug and the toeball step off is perfectly set for jogging or fast walking. And the heel stability is exceptional. Softer material under the laces is easy on the top of the foot. On the official Salomon website they tell me one size, on other websites they tell me a different size and on Varuste they tell me a different one. I haven't decided to buy it because I'm not sure which size to choose.
