I received the skis yesterday, unboxed them, and examined their quality and appearance. The skis look fantastic, and although I haven't tested them on the snow yet, my extensive skiing experience leads me to believe that they will be highly durable and perform well. I plan to update my review after using them for some time. Update review: Today, I installed the bindings and encountered an issue where one of the factory-drilled holes did not align with the corresponding hole in the bindings. When attempting to secure the screw, it caused the front part to pull away from the main base, resulting in an increased gap. As a consequence, there is now a noticeable backlash in the front part of the binding on one ski. I am uncertain about the impact on functionality, but I am disappointed that the factory's quality control did not verify the alignment of drilled holes.

Based on a few user experiences, really good tricks! The instructions for installing the bandages are good and the installation is easy. Attaching and detaching the bandages also works very well. The OAC MIL 149 is a very suitable size for me, works on trails and in closed areas, nurseries and dense forest. If I could say something small to improve, then in soft wind I would like a slightly higher nose of the ski, now it tries to bark from time to time.
OAC works really well, the grip has been enough in almost all weather conditions to make steep climbs with a straight ski. There is enough sliding, especially on the slopes of the closed forest :)

They've held up well even though I'm a 5XL. They are a comfortable length for hunting, with the dog and in deeper pursuits. Excellent! The durability of the tie is a concern in the long term, but with good care it will last, but gorilla tape goes with me and a few spare parts just in case.

this ski is so incredibly fun to ride. For many years, when I was walking with snowshoes, I thought and dreamed about a mix with skis to be able to slide down the mountain slopes or through the birch forest. Now I have found the perfect snow shoe/ski. Everyone who got to come along and try these skis, just like me, just "loved" this new experience. The ski's grip on spring snow is impressive.

Skis work well if there is a small load-bearing layer in the snow. My first experiment took place at the end of January, when there was no load-bearing layer in the snow and we went all the way to the bottom, unlike in February, which worked perfectly when there was a small load-bearing layer. Ties make a "squeak" sound when in use.

The sliding shoes match the description and are exactly what I wanted. I like these sliding shoes more than the OAC WAP 127 model, which I’ve also tested, the feel is better, especially on the hills. The difference with the OAC KAR 147, on the other hand, is so small that I haven't noticed it in use. I might not leave for the steepest and iciest hills of all, but these have not been put to use. The bindings are easy to adjust to fit and quick to use.

I was considering buying for a long time because of the reasonably hard price but after a long wait then I finally got my skinbase mil. Now twice I have hiked on a closed sledge and I carry my skis well even though the carrying project has not yet been formed. The big disadvantage is that already during two short trips, the ripple that leaves the bandages burns my soul.

Correctly running games in the snow! This experience is mainly about moving in sheltered weather. I have a heavier weight myself and that’s why I chose this longer model. I can't compare to other slippers when there is no experience, but compared to high-quality snowshoes, the load capacity is much better. A lighter guy immersed himself in a jog with snowshoes much more than I did with these sliders. The ice-free surface of the lake was not very directional, but these were probably not meant to be. The grip hair has a really good grip, and at least didn’t slip on a gentle uphill slope. Despite its length, I think it is quite handy to turn and you can move forward even in the terrain. So far, there is only one positive thing to say about these when moving around.
Special thanks also to the equipment customer service that works! 😊

Outstanding skis, but did not ship with the EA 2.0 binding, just the pre drilled in base. Had to go to my local shop and pick them up to be able to take them out

The first couple of test times behind. This model is wide and is best suited for forest terrain where there is plenty to do in the woods. You don't go downhill on a downhill slope, but you can count, surprisingly steadily. An excellent choice for your own camping use in the forests of Eastern Finland.
I can only find a few comparisons to EA 2.0 bindings, first to the concept of Tubbs snowshoe, which is the hiking pattern I use the most. The EA 2.0 feels much more reliable and more widely adjustable, and once you’ve put your own adjustments in place, these slip into your feet quickly. Adjusting for different sizes of shoes is a quick step.
Installing a bandage when you take a package is a simple process. Of course, there is a risk that the only screw per ski will be able to be screwed in at an angle and something unfortunate will happen, but there are really no more than two screws left in the package. Easy!
From the first bet, I felt why it was worth paying cf. scaly-based wilderness. There is plenty of grip, load capacity and lateral grip. The feeling is exactly as it should be.
These are expensive, but you don't have to buy many of them. One star out of it.

A couple of trips have become done and it feels right to rig. In these new version bindings, it still seems to be a mild problem to find when the release lever hits a project or twigs.
This was a really good option when the kar 147 order was left in a competing store waiting for stock balances.

The bandages are easy to adjust to the shoes after a little initial training, and putting on and taking off the feet is also easy with the gloves on. The sliding shoe stays surprisingly well on the surface, even in soft snow. In 40 cm of powder snow, of course, it sinks and sometimes it's a bit difficult to get the tip up. The speed of the fist and the use of force in powder are almost the same as in traditional snowshoes. In denser snow, the heirloom clearly disappears in the absence of a sliding property. On slopes on a load-bearing base, poor slip is only good for such an ungifted skier. On an icy surface, the lack of lateral grip makes this a bit awkward to traverse. The little frost on the ice of the lake in the powder snow, sometimes in the water channel, did not seem to hinder the going. A fun addition to winter sports, and definitely a good game for pulling a sled in different snow conditions. Domesticity is a big plus!

These are the best ski I’ve ever had. They have made all the nearby forests accessible to me and my dog. Now we look forward to every weekend and hope the snow doesn’t melt for as long as possible

Probably the same fault as in my previous OAC XCD 160 skis. The only mounting screw on the front part of the tie is approx. 5 mm, it is too long. Without the Dremel and diamond blades, the cut would have remained. The shims were not enough for cutting The screw was made of hard material, even the file couldn't bite into the screw after cutting. You should inform the OAC factory about the problem

The bindings are a maximum of 37.5 cm sole, not 38 as stated. The distance leading edge binding to the angle can not be set, so it became strange with large shoes.
The skis are easy to go off-piste, and fantastic to go uphill with. On the trail it was a bit like Bambi - it slides all the way. My impression is that it is a very good product.
