Really good shoes. Used them for scrambling up to Ewbanks 12, and heaps of Alpine 1s & 2s in NZ. Good grip and comfy, and the elastic around the ankle stops scree or gravel getting in. They even took my semi automatic crampons for a bit of glacier travel, though I wouldn't use them on anything steep. I'd recommend these instead of tramping boots in most situations (though they aren't waterproof, most of the time in NZ it's wet feet or shoes off anyway).
