I applied the product as per the instructions to new unused Scott Superguide skis here in New Zealand right on the Autumn equinox late March. The bases were factory ground and structured with no wax. I prepared the bases by washing and scrubbing with detergent and hot water in case there was any manufacturing residue on them. I put the skis out in bright direct noon sunshine air temperature around 18-20 C for almost 3 hours. After this I did not observe any hard cured product on the bases as the instructions said might be there. I washed and rubbed down then wet and polished the bases as per the instructions. I cannot know now if the product has worked until I ski on them in July. Clive S New Zealand
