My hands are really cold and I like to wear gloves when the mercury drops below ten degrees. Mechanix's gloves work just fine with the plus case, as long as it doesn't make playing Pokemon Go more demanding (their wear resistance is a joke), but in freezing temperatures I really needed good gloves, and I didn't want to compromise on dexterity at all. With the help of Varuste.net's friendly staff, I found these. Based on one winter's use test, I am really satisfied with these, there is no need to take off the gloves, for example, for a short car transfer or if you need to write notes with a pen or operate the camera. If necessary, the index finger and thumb can be turned forward, so that smartphone typing is successful and only two fingertips are frozen in the frigid cold winter of Finland. Good gloves for cold weather and all kinds of activities. Such a word of warning that I myself would not buy these without fitting them. I was very surprised when the hand of size 12 required the biggest size that could be found in the store, if I had bought online, I would have bought size XL (same as in Mechanixes), but on the spot the XL was so small that it would not have been able to fit this paw even with vaseline and a shoe spoon.

These "Seal skins" are great gloves for shooting, hunting, fishing, photography, etc., where it's good to have the index finger and thumb free, but still warm if necessary. The magnetic fastening of the opening fingertips works well. Previous gloves of a similar but different brand had velcro - which was immediately blocked by dog hair. The gloves are waterproof and I can work well at temperatures of at least -10 C. In colder weather, you can pull thin merino wool mittens underneath. I also have a glove version, which of course is even warmer when closed, but when opened, all the fingers are exposed.

The gloves are very nice but the XXL size isn't as big as you would expect
