The only downside is when you adjust the position of the seat to the back with an older child, the seat bounces surprisingly much from the child's weight when driving over potholes. NOTE! Small-bodied and / or city bikes with low-bodied wheels: it's a good idea to make sure the mounting adapter fits your bike in advance.
