When the intensity climbs or the trail steepens, you can dump heat quickly with underarm vents. The two-way adjustable hood can be cinched in quick with one hand when you’re negotiating tricky terrain and its protective stiff peak keeps the rain off your face. Pockets are designed to swallow up essentials like a map and compass and with articulation through the sleeves you can move freely on scrambles or difficult ground.
