Cross-country poles

How to pick a suitable pair of poles?
For classic style skiing the poles should be 0,83-0,86 x your height.

  • Skate style 0,88-0,91 x your height.
  • Children's poles 0,83 x the cild's height. Note! It is a good idea to purchase a little shorter poles for children still learning to ski. For example 80 cm poles could be ideal for 3-4 year old children, who still are in the phase of learning the fundementals of the sport.

If you are in the beginning of your hobby it is reommended that you err to a shorter version of poles especially if you are thinking between sizes.
