Very well made boot.Wide in the forefoot,very comfortable around the ankles.Old style walking boot,that requires good breaking in.Wore these up and down the local beach for a couple of weeks and now they fit like a glove,excellent!

— Show originalWhat a beautiful and fine shoe. I chose this shoe for durability; a zwiegenähte shoe that can be resoled well. Wonderful that this is still handmade in Germany. The shoe is wide in the forefoot (I have somewhat wider feet), and has a nice 'heel-grip' at the heel. After reading reviews I decided to buy 41.5, normally I have 41 (longest foot is 25.9 cm long). 41.5 is perfect for me.| Overall rating |
Great hiking boots. Manufacturing is superior and the design is also nice. My feet are quite wide in the fronts so the are generally Meindl fits.
